Can I use the Poison Oak & Ivy Removal Wipes on my pet?
We have in the past, and found that the only possible issue would be found in the essential oils we use in the wipes - which most times will never penetrate the pet's fur.
There are mixed messages about essential oils on dogs on the internet, but most of the time its assuming direct contact in high concentrations on the dog’s skin. Here's what the AKC says about it.
Our answer is to use them in a pinch, but if you are planning on an adventure with your pet, get a set of our Wildland Pet Wipes.
When should I start applying the Relief Scrub?
Begin using immediately upon signs of a rash appearing. We've found that carrying the tube along with you during the couple weeks during the rash lifecycle is the best approach, applying cream whenever you feel the obnoxious tingling.
Remember, the Relief Scrub is NOT preventative, but intended to give you relief after the rash begins to appear.
